Kris Dempster-Rivett
GENERAL MANAGER
Kris brings a deep understanding of Aotearoa’s digital equity and education landscapes, having previously been part of DFA’s journey in 2022 -2023 and an active Steward of the Digital Equity Coalition Aotearoa (DECA). His mahi is rooted in creating meaningful, equitable pathways into tech for young people. As General Manager, Kris is focused on strengthening partnerships, driving innovation, and ensuring RAD continues to grow with purpose and impact.
Riley Pugh
LEAD TRAINER
Riley grew up in Porirua and saw the digital divide firsthand during COVID-19. She joined RAD in 2021 to make a difference and has grown alongside the program. Now studying Electrical Engineering in Ōtautahi Christchurch, she brings strong technical expertise to workshops and helps lead RAD’s trainer team.
Kelsey Hallahan
PROGRAMME MANAGER
Kelsey has a background in primary teaching and resource production for New Zealand kaiako (teachers). She is passionate about supporting kaiako, tamariki and rangatahi to develop their digital technology capabilities and bridging the digital divide in Aotearoa through hands on experiences and relevant resources. Kelsey is based in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton) and keeps the RAD wheels turning supporting team members and ensuring laptops move through the RAD process.
Eva Riddell
COMMUNITY & SCHOOL LIAISON
Eva grew up in the predominantly Māori community of Tokomaru Bay in Te Tairāwhiti. For most of her career, she has worked with Māori whānau, working in advocacy, iwi development and Māori enterprise. She is passionate about alternative education and brings her experience in designing and facilitating rangatahi social enterprise and governance programmes to RAD.
Eva lives in Ōtautahi Christchurch and works part-time with RAD
